Canon's C300 is an entry level camera for the high-end film market.
The Canon C300 records in Full 1080P, 4:2:2, with a bit rate of up to 50 mbps.
All the benefits of DSLR filming and more! This is a purpose-built film camera, unlike the Canon 5D, so if you were planning on using a 5D or 7D, why not try this instead? Much easier to use, no rig needed and has 2 XLR inputs for simple sound recording. No need for focus pullers, juicelink boxes, viewfinders, seperate battery adapters, etc..
