The “Hirer” is the person, persons, company or organisation who take the equipment on hire.
Equipment is taken on hire and used entirely at Hirer’s risk, including third party.
Equipment not returned, or returned broken or incomplete will be charged for at FULL replacement cost. (We are happy to advise on the value of equipment for hirers wishing to arrange their own insurance cover.)
Whether or not the Hirer has examined or tested the equipment, the Hirer’s signed acceptance acknowledges receipt of the equipment in good working order.
Lamps broken or damaged will be charged for at cost. Lamps, which fail electrically, must be returned for our inspection.
Any breakdown or unsatisfactory working of equipment must be notified to us immediately. We accept no liability for any loss or damage due to or arising from such breakdown or unsatisfactory work, however caused.
The hirer shall be responsible for compliance with all statutory safety regulations relating to the equipment hired.
If, with our agreement, the period of hire is extended, the terms and conditions of the original period of hire shall also apply to the extended period of hire. Un-notified extensions of hire will result in the “hirer” being liable for the additional hire charge at the weekly rate.
We reserve the right to refuse applications for hire entirely at our discretion.
ON NO ACCOUNT may equipment be interfered with, leads be cut, plugs or trailing sockets removed.
A surcharge will be made on any equipment found to have been interfered with.
Payment terms are within 30 days of invoice date.
Quotations do not include VAT, which is charged at the rate ruling at the date of invoice.
Quotations are valid for 30 days from date of issue.
