Sony ILME-FX3

The FX3 is the baby brother to the popular PXW-FX6 – sitting nicely in the range between the FX6 and the A7S iii, and still with a Full Frame sensor.

More lightweight than the FX6, but with more options (including full audio box with 2x XLR inputs) than the A7S.

Records to CFExpress cards (1x 160gb and 1x 80gb ‘Type A’ provided as standard, more available on request). 16-bit RAW can be captured from the HDMI output.

4K 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording up to 120fps. Supports Sony’s amazing autofocus with real time eye tracking and real time touch tracking. Also utilises the Cinematic colour science (S-Cinetone) from the FX9, for incredibly rich colour handling.

ISO sensitivity from 80 all the way up to 409,600, with 15 stops of dynamic range.
