GyroArm – 360 Platform Rig

Media Dog’s custom rig for that ‘hero shot’. Often used in sports kit launches or for fashion, or for character introductions for opening credits that suit that style.

The 360 comprises of a stand-on platform with a 360 degrees arm with smooth bearings, angled up to give the hero shot.

Can take most cameras from GoPros to Alexa Minis and Reds.

Recommend a minimum of 50p recording to slow down the footage, but as the arm will do several rotations from one push, gradually slowing down, you can pick which rotation suits the correct speed in the edit suite.
